  Já viajei por inúmeros países e nunca fui tão mal atendido. As pessoas são grossas e estão sempre de mal humor. A comida tem qualidade péssima, as bebidas também, além de estarem quentes. Os hóspedes precisam se curvar aos horários de início das refeições disputando a comida na marra porque logo logo só fica a sobra. Não recomendo este hotel para absolutamente ninguém. Melhor pagar um pouco mais e ficar num lugar minimamente profissional.

  Tours were more expensive than we thought, and trying to book a shuttle bus back to Havana was a nightmare - luckily the sales rep took pity on us and managed to arrange a lift on another tour to get us back to Havana. We did do a jeep tour from Havana which included visiting caves and snorkelling which was great. We tried snorkelling in the sea, but there were no fish - this could be our bad luck, but if we wanted good snorkelling we had to pay out for it.

  Good coffee from the bar Big complex, as we were there off season we had a whole swimming pool to ourselves The beach was clean, with plenty of sun beds

  The food was not very nice - they seemed to re-use the leftovers from one meal the next, and the next day. Me and my partner both ended up ill in bed for 2 whole days During dinner restaurant staff asked us if we wanted to buy cigars!! We had come out of Havana to get away from pestering like this, so we weren't impressed. When we arrived we weren't given any information about the hotel and what was available - we had to find things out for ourselves. We didn't need a bell boy due to having small suitcases, and so he refused to even direct us to our room!

  We walked to Ambrosia cave, there are drawings inside the cave and bats - was a short but good tour. We also walked in the nature reserve near by which was interesting - but take insect repellent!! There is an open top bus that will take you all around varadero - the markets in the centre were good - and they don't pester you to buy which was great!
